A bit of history
The historic village grocery
Before becoming the restaurant we know today, La Cueille housed the village grocery store, run by Manu's grandparents, the current owner. It was the beating heart of Ribes: people came to get bread, the newspaper, and especially to catch up on news.
Today, this tradition lives on. La Cueille's grocery offers a selection of local short-supply-chain products, a fresh bread depot and the village press. A slice of Ardèche authenticity, in the heart of the hamlet.

What you can find at the grocery store
Charcuterie & terrines
Sausages, terrines, and pâtés from Ardechois producers. Ideal for composing your take-away aperitif boards.
Local cheeses
Tommes and goat cheeses from Peytot (Planzolle) and from Élevage du Serre, right here in Ribes.
Honey & jams
Garrigue and chestnut honeys, artisanal jams made with seasonal fruits. The taste of southern Ardèche in a jar.
Fresh bread
Daily supply from Fournil des Buis (Hameau des Buis). Sourdough bread, fougasses, pastries — delivered every morning.
Eggs & vegetables
Farm eggs from Roland Brun (Ribes) and seasonal vegetables from Frères Royé (Rosières). From the field to the plate.
Press & convenience
The village newspaper, some daily essentials. The grocery store remains the must-stop point in Ribes.

Events
Producer markets
Throughout the year, La Cueille organises themed producers' markets on the hamlet square. An opportunity to meet our artisans, taste their products and take home the best of Ardèche terroir.
Summer market
Every Friday evening in July-August, alongside the concerts. Festive and friendly atmosphere.
Seasonal markets
Spring and autumn: themed markets (wine, cheese, honey, crafts). Dates on our social media.
